“I am happy to take this opportunity to make a statement about how I feel about the study I have been in for the past year.

The screening process at the beginning of the study was very thorough. I was confident at that time that the study would be capable of producing genuine and reliable results. I particularly wanted to be a part of this study because it targeted the "Senior" population. This is a segment of the population that has been seriously neglected in learning about how developing drugs affect older people. I was very much aware that it can't be determined by simple extrapolation after studies done in the 35 to 50 age group. Older individuals clearly react differently. Since I am 76, I felt that I could contribute important information through this study. I hope this proves to be the case.

Throughout the entire study, I was treated as a valuable individual and FRIEND! I was provided with all the information I could have possibly needed and knew from the beginning exactly what my schedule of visits would be and what each one would entail. Any time something came up that required me to make some change in the schedule, the staff was totally cooperative. Every one I had contact with was someone I am pleased to know. It was always a good feeling to walk in to sign in for an appointment and be called by name. I will miss the contacts now that the study is over.” - AS

Translation: I believe that it is one of the clinics that is well attended and its area is good. Also, its personnel appear to be marvelous.

"Me gusta el personal que trabaja ahi, todos muy amables, muy atentos. El lugar, las  instalaciones me agradan mucho, se siente uno muy relajado. Lo que yo cambiaria un poco es la comida que no fueran tan severos con la dieta."
Translation: "I like the personnel that work there, everyone is kind and attentive. The place and its departments please me very much and I feel very relaxed. What I would change a bit is the food plan, not to be so stern with the diet."

Translation: "I believe it’s a pleasant and tranquil site for the type of work that is conducted. I like the personnel and the cleansiness. I believe that they are very efficient and pleasant. I like the meals. I believe that they should change and not be too strict."

"He agrada mucho las nuevas instalaciones, el personal es excelente, eficiente y muy amable. Lo que no me gusta mucho es la comida, es muy poca y su sabor no es muy agradable."
Translation: "The new facility and its personnel are excellent, efficient, and pleasant. What I do not like much is the food, its very little and its taste is unpleasant."

Translation: " I am happy to be here."

"En todas las clinicas en las que me he internado, esta es en la que me siento  a gusto porque me tartan como un cliente o paciente, no como 'sujeto'. La Buena educacion reina en sus pasillos tanto en el personal como en las personas que participan en los estudios. Espero que al crecer no cambien en la seleccion del personal."
Translation: "In all the clinics that I have been admitted to, this one is the one that I am proud of because I am treated like a client or a patient not a 'subject.' Good manners rule so much in the hallways in personnel as well as the participants in the study. I hope that as far as the clinic grows that there is no change in the selection of its personnel."
